Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1942. Plain 28" blued heavy round factory Winchester Steel barrel with Winchester 2-line address marked "MODEL 52" with full blued floorplate and Winchester detachable magazine. Pose-style front sight with removed rear sight and action-fitted receiver sight base. Matted finish receiver with blued speedlock bolt and trigger. Plain walnut marksman configuration stock with Winchester checkered steel buttplate, sling swivel studs, and grip rail. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue with light freckling and area of pitting near muzzle with applied cold blue with 95% remaining action finish with bolt having slight handling wear. 90% varnish. There are small handling marks and dings overall. Good bore with visible rifling and crisp mechanics.
