Circa 2002. A beautiful Italian made game gun with chopper lump nitro proof 30" blued steel barrels. Barrels built with 2 - 3/4" chambers, ejectors, and a tapered smooth concave game rib fit with a brass bead front sight. Left barrel reads "LUCIANO BOSIS ITALY". Barrel flats read with Italian proofs, "20-70", "BS", "348", and "LBOSIS". Barrel bottoms stamped "KG1.090", "15.8", "CAM. 70" and also interestingly stamped with Birmingham proofs. Chokes are Improved Cylinder in both barrels. The brushed coin-finished sidelock action is built with single mechanical trigger, cocking indicator, floral scroll engraved and checkered top lever, checkered and engraved safe slide, and with "SAFE" in gold. Gun is non-auto safe. Tight scroll engraving with swirling waves and flowers is orchestrated by now-deceased (1947 - 2016) master engraver Giancarlo Pedretti. Mr. Pedretti's engraving signature (GS Pedretti) is located on right hand side of trigger plate ahead of guard. Guard and full-length bottom strap with matched engraving and strap with serial number "348" in gold. A reddish brown European walnut stock with drop points is built with fine checkered English straight grip, gold oval, and finished by a checkered butt. The long splinter forend with fine checkering has matched scroll engraving on escutcheon and exterior iron metal. Forend with Anson push button release. Interior brushed steel iron metal with makers name "L.BOSIS" and serial number. Gun lives in a brown leather case with canvas outer. Case with black and gold "LUCIANO BOSIS" case label, hand guard, cleaning rod, and cleaning accessories. CONDITION: Excellent. Barrels with mostly all of their blue and bright bores. Action, trigger, and ejectors are sound. Stock excellent. Forend very good with small chip ahead of checkering.
