Aaron Willard (1757-1844, Boston, MA) shelf clock with elaborate eglomise panels, top panel with patriotic motif and signed "Aaron Willard Boston." Bottom panel with "Perry's Victory" scene from the battle of lake Erie during the war of 1812. Brass 8-day weight driven, time & strike movement. CONDITION: Original painted dial showing fading. The eglomise panels have some minor touchup, but nothing to distract from the great condition of the historically significant Boston shelf clock.
