Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1902. Restored and upgraded by an unknown professional gunsmith at an unknown date. Plain 24" round blued factory Winchester Steel barrel with Winchester 2-line address, marked ".44 W.C.F.", and fitted with a full length blued tubular magazine. Standard front sight with graduated flip rear sight. Case hardened solid frame with nitre blued loading gate, case hardened hammer, lever, and plain trigger. Custom figured walnut stocks with case hardened crescent steel buttplate. Comes with Cody research confirming manufacture and options. CONDITION: 98% barrel blue with 98% remaining case colors. 98% varnish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Pitted bore with visible rifling. Soft mechanics.
