Made in Liege, Belgium, by August Francotte circa 1930 for the English market. Blued 26" Fluid Steel barrels with smooth concave rib marked "A. FRANCOTTE LIEGE" with ejectors and bead front sight. Gun originally chambered for 2 - 1/2" shells and now marked for 3" chambers, and with Improved Modified and Modified chokes. Barrel flats are marked with English proofs. Case-hardened boxlock action with double triggers, blued opening lever, and trigger guard with automatic safety. Finely checkered walnut English grip stock with horn thick buttplate. Matching splinter walnut forearm with button release. CONDITION: 98% original finish with light handling marks. Blue is staring to wear slightly at carry points, wood has some light handling marks. Great bore and mechanics. Extremely fine and petite shotgun ready for the hunt!
