Circa 1969-1970. Nickel finish, serrated ramp front sight, notch rear sight integral to top strap, pinned barrel. Case colored narrow hammer and trigger. Typical S&W trademark under cylinder release, caliber designation on right side of barrel, and S&W information on right side, ahead of sideplate. With matching box, endlabel correctly identifies this gun by serial number as a 2" nickel gun; right grip scale stamped with matching serial on interior. Box contains period ephemera including warranty registration, ads for S&W ads and holsters, etc. CONDITION: Overall excellent, retaining virtually all of the finish with minor superficial scratching to nickel. Mechanically fine, bore has strong rifling and even mild frosting throughout. Box is very good with clear end label. Some minor peeling and assorted age-related wear; one tape repair to lid.
