Made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1961. Plain 26" varmint weight blued round factory Winchester Proof Steel barrel with Winchester 2-line address marked "MODEL 70". Blued floorplate. Drilled and tapped front and rear sight locations, fitted with Lyman Super Target Spot 15x scope. Matte finish receiver with matching bolt and plain trigger. Standard varmint configuration checkered walnut stock with checkered Winchester plastic buttplate. CONDITION: 90% fading barrel blue with light freckling. 95% remaining action finish, bolt has slight handling wear. 90% varnish. There are small handling marks and dings overall. Good bore with visible rifling, crisp mechanics, and clear optics; scope missing caps.
