Made by J.P. Sauer and Son in Germany for Colt Firearms circa 1970. Plain 26" blued sporter weight round sightless factory steel barrel with Colt address. Blued floorplate with detachable magazine. Blued finished receiver with matching bolt and plain trigger. Standard configuration checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece, Sauer marked vented pad, and contrasting grip cap and forearm. Gun is fitted with Weaver bases. CONDITION: 98% bright barrel blue with case edge and carry wear. 95% action finish, bolt has slight handling wear. 90% varnish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Good bore with visible rifling. Crisp mechanics.
