Made by J.P. Sauer and Son in Germany for Colt Firearms circa 1970. Plain 26" sporter weight round blued sightless factory steel barrel with Colt address, blued floorplate, and detachable magazine. Blued finish receiver with matching bolt and plain trigger. Standard configuration checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with cheekpiece, Sauer marked vented pad, contrasting grip cap, and forearm. Gun is fitted with factory rings and bases. CONDITION: 98% bright barrel blue with case edge wear. 95% remaining action finish, bolt has slight handling wear. 90% varnish. Small handling marks and dings overall. Good bore with visible rifling and crisp mechanics.
