Made at Mauser in 1944 with "c" block serial number. Blued 4 - 7/8" round barrel with standard sights. Matching dual tone finish matching "byf/44" code slide and frame with Mauser "(Eagle) / 135" proofs with correct unnumbered "(Eagle) / WaA135" code and "P-38" marked magazine. Factory black resin 2-piece grips. All matching numbers, except magazine, with all correct markings. No import markings. Please note that this P38 has been a part of numerous 1st place displays at major gun shows, including Wannemacher's Tulsa Arms Show. CONDITION: Overall 98% original military finish. Good grips with sharp serrations. Good mechanics. Bright bore with visible rifling. Desirable P-38 and hard to find in this condition.
