Made by Hunter Arms Company of Fulton, New York, in 1914, the second year of full production. 1 of only 720 built in 16 gauge. 28" blued Nitro Steel barrels with 2 - 3/4" chambers, ejectors, raised matted rib with bead front sight, and fixed Full and Full chokes. Barrels have standard Specialty grade floral breech engraving with Hunter address on the left barrel and grade designation on the right. Case-hardened featherweight sidelock action with standard Specialty grade floral and bird scene engraving with factory single selective Hunter One trigger, non-automatic safety, and blued floral engraved trigger guard. Factory checkered American walnut pistol grip stock with standard hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Matching checkered walnut splinter forearm with ebony triangle tip inlay and standard roller latch. Cody Research verifies all options except Hunter One Trigger. Comes in a maker's labeled canvas trunk case. CONDITION: Gun was expertly restored to new condition with 98% overall blue with edge wear only. 98% vivid case colors with sharp engraving. 98% cleaned wood finish with some visible dings on the right side of the comb. Sharp checkering. Good screws, mirror bores with tight lock up, and strong mechanics. Case in like new condition.
