Circa 2011. A lovely game gun with 29" chopper lump nitro proofed blued barrels. Sleek barrels with 2 - 3/4" chambers and ejectors. Rib is concave, smooth, tapering, with a round steel front bead sight and light floral engraving at breech. Rib reads "LUCIANO BOSIS ITALY". Barrel flats marked with Italian proofs, "20-70", "597", "LBOSIS", "CH", and "MADE IN ITALY". Chokes are Modified on left and Improved Cylinder on right. The beautiful color case hardened round framed back action sidelock is adorned with bold floral scroll engraving, "L. BOSIS" in a banner on each lock plate, the initials "DMJ" in cursive script on the engraved color case hardened trigger guard extending to the engraved bottom strap with the serial number "597" engraved. The action is fit with smooth color case hardened double triggers with the front articulated. The water table is marked with Italian Proofs, "L BOSIS" and "597". The honey colored Turkish walnut stock with contrasting smoky figure is equipped with a round knob pistol grip with point pattern checkering, drop points, and a checkered butt. The splinter forend with similar checkering is fit with an Anson style push button release and gold inlaid crowned Luciano Bosis crest featuring a standing griffin facing left with "LUCIANO BOSIS BRESCIA" in a banner on the bottom. Resides in the maker's single leather case that has the maker's paper case label attached to the interior of the lid and equipped with cleaning attachments and a pair of nickel plated Luciano Bosis snap caps. CONDIITON: Excellent. Barrels bores are bright and shiny, triggers are crisp, and ejectors function nicely. Slight handling/storage marks on buttstock and forend. Case is very good with a few minor handling/storage marks. A great gun to add to your collection.
