Made in Japan by Olin-Kodensha for Winchester Repeating Arms Company between 1978 and 1988. Blued 26" Winchester Proof Steel barrels with full length ventilated factory rib, ejectors, Lyman style hi-visibilty bead front and mid sights, 2 - 3/4" chambers, and Improved Cylinder and Modified chokes. Blued boxlock action with scroll engraving, gold bird on the bottom, polished gold finished single selective trigger, and top tang safety and barrel selector. Factory checkered figured walnut pistol grip stock with solid black recoil pad and hard rubber grip cap with a brass oval vanity plate. Fitted with matching checkered beavertail forearm with ebony stock inlay and latch release. Comes in a fitted maker's trunk case, original cardboard box, and papers. CONDITION: 98% action and barrel blue with light fading on the carry area and sharp engraving. 98% original varnish with sharp checkering and small handling dings. Excellent bores and mechanics. Case and box in good condition.
