Large Women's Army Corps (WAC) uniform grouping named to Dorothy L. Hohmann. The group consists of 4 green uniform jackets, 1 of which features ordnance corps and Army Service Forces SSI, along with captain rank on shoulders. There is also a khaki uniform jacket as well as several skirts, ties, 1 overseas hat, and 4 hobby hats. All hobby hats are missing their cap badges. Also included is a seldom encountered World War II US Army WAC dress white uniform jacket and hat, with jacket named to Hohmann. Lastly, there is a post-WWII taupe Lt. Colonel's uniform with 8th Army SSI, that is dated 1951, unnamed, but was stored with Dorothy Hohmann's WWII uniforms. Nearly every piece in the lot is named to Hohmann with her written name or tags that were sewn into the uniform pieces. The uniforms exhibit scattered wear with khaki pieces exhibiting the most blemishes. Chinstraps on hats exhibit fraying and the chinstrap on the green hat is broken. This is a very nice set of WAC uniforms all named to the same soldier. CONDITION: Good.
