Lot consists of several mess dress uniforms which date from the World War II era-Cold War era. The lot includes a Cold War mess dress jacket with beautiful velvet and bullion trim which displays the rank of a lieutenant general. There is also a full general mess dress uniform consisting of a jacket, trousers, and sealed white shirt. The jacket is named "Gen. W.B. Rosson". William B. Rosson accumulated an impressive military career earning the Distinguished Service Cross for valor on the Anzio Beachhead in Italy. He also fought in North Africa, Sicily, France, and Germany. At the end of the Vietnam War, he commanded the U.S. Army, Pacific. There is also a World War II era US Army quartermaster mess dress with jacket that features attractive bullion sleeve braids, trousers, and hat with high quality velvet and bullion visor. There are 2 Cold War era mess dresses. 1 blue and 1 white, along with a dress white uniform that also dates to the Cold War era. The uniforms exhibit blemishes with a varying degree of wear from use and storage. CONDITION: Good-very good.
