Manufactured circa 1872-1888 in standard configuration. Marked "P" and "S" on left side of frame, with Remington patent information. CONDITION: Very good, with the thin original blue remaining on barrel with scattered light oxidation and handling marks. Front sight appears to have been repaired or readded. Frame retains bright original case colors, with top and bottom edges worn to a gray patina. Hammer and breech block retain their bright finish. Forearm has a small crack on the right side and grip retains about half of the original varnish. Mechanically fine. Bore is dark.
