One of the more interesting Civil War era percussion revolvers, utilizing a lever within the trigger guard to advance the cylinder and cock the hammer. This example is as standard with a polish blued 7" octagon barrel, brass cone front sight, v-notch rear, 3-line address, and 2-piece smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel retains the majority of its lustrous original blue mixing with gray patina. Frame and other components have largely faded to patina. Grips are good with moderate impressions throughout and a repaired split present in the left panel. Strong bore with some cleaned oxidation spots. Fine mechanics. A great example.
