Made by Colt Firearms in 1863. 8" round blued barrel with Colt New York address and German silver blade front sight. Matching blued finish Naval Scene rolled cylinder with case hardened 3-screw frame, brass trigger guard, and steel grip. Factory inspector marked walnut grips with matching numbers on frame, barrel assembly, cylinder, trigger guard, grip, and wedge. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal turning to a gray patina with some areas of discoloration. Brass shows a golden yellow color from handling with grips in a natural oil-soaked state and added bone diamond inlay. Good mechanics and nipples. Dark bore with visible rifling and some pitting.
