Typical flattened hexagonal blade with spearpoint tip, with three fullers that run nearly the full length of the blade. Approximately 1" from the ricasso are the outward facing moon faces (referred to as dukkeri), which have been observed on numerous other examples. Ring guard with turned sections while quillions end in large turk's heads decorated with slashes. Grip with a traversal band and a second band towards top is wrapped in black leather. Turk's head pommel with slashes en suite with quillions. CONDITION: Good, with a base gunmetal grey visible throughout the blade, with even light mossing and some scattered oxidation. Edge shows some chipping with distension. Handle with heavier oxidation and is more of a chocolate patina with flashes of gunmetal grey. Grip is solid with some crazing throughout, but solid.
