Made by Smith and Wesson from 1893 to 1905 with 862 made in this caliber. 10" nickel plated ribbed barrel with Smith Wesson address and "Model of 91" barrel markings. Nickel-plated frame with recoil shields and original black checkered diamond S&W log hard rubber grips. Case hardened trigger, trigger guard, and hammer. Gun has what appears to be factory or period floral engraving; more research needs to be done. CONDITION: 95% original nickel finish remaining with some freckling near muzzle and some light handling marks. Sharp engraving with fantastic grips. Case colors are slightly visible with balance fading to a dull gray color. Good bore and mechanics.
