A lovely special-order bolo from the multiple award winning, original co-founding member of the Traditional Cowboy Artists Association, Dave Alderson of Twin Falls, Idaho. Fabricated using a distinctive and striking blend of braided leather, silver and two-color gold, Dave connected the braided brown leather band to an intricate silver chain with horsehair tassels to secure his elegant, intricately engraved silver bolo slide adorned with a highly detailed yellow gold longhorn residing below six gold buttons and fully encased by a rose gold rounded edge.
The off-side is marked with the Alderson logo, TCAA member mark and features a locking mechanism to keep the slide in place. Great condition.
CORRECTION: Dave Alderson was not a founding member of the TCAA, he was a member from 2002 to 2013.
