Lot consists of: (A) M1860 Staff and Field Officer's sword that is a reproduction of Ulysses S. Grant's first presentation sword. The sword was produced by the Franklin Mint and is marked with the Smithsonian Institute's symbol. 2500 copies were made. Sword is paired with an M1872 scabbard. CONDITION: NRA Very Good. (B) M1872 Staff and Field Officer's sword marked "GHAS / F. PUSH / ST. PAUL / MINN." in standard configuration with nicely etched blade that exhibits a mellow patina. Complete with scabbard. CONDITION: NRA Good. (C) Knights of Pythias staff and field officer's style sword marked "THE M.C. LILLEY & / CO. / COLUMBUS, / OHIO.". Etched blade with gold washed decorations. Blade is named to "Major Gen. B. Bender" / Aide-de-camp on Brigade Staff / U.R.K.P. Spencer Iowa.". Ivory grip with the general's initials. Complete with decorated scabbard. CONDITION: NRA Very Good.
