The rack is ranch-made with horn feet, shaped horn sides and mother of pearl and bone accents attached to upright. The rack is 38 1/2" tall by 14" wide. The canes consist of Deer Lodge Montana Penitentiary hitched horsehair cane with braided leather bottom and top knot, a wooden shaft cane with a carved mans head of bone and wrapped with a sterling band, a real ranchers walking stick made of barbed wire and topped with a coin "Compliments of J. Haish "S" Bard Steel Fence Wire DeKalb, ILL.", a fabulous contemporary cane with silver faceted and engraved handle topped with a beveled gold quartz stone and signed J. Sornberger., a bamboo cane with heavy steel ball top, Victorian relief gold top cane with monogram, another Victorian style gold topped cane with engraved presentation "To Erastus Stebins / Chicopee / by / Brother Odd Fellows / Springfield, Mass / Jan 22nd 1879", a gold topped cane with gold quartz insert in a sunflower motif, a smaller gentleman's dress cane with engraved gold top inscribed "J-K Stuber Vom Kirchenrath / Der DRZ / Gemeinde / Reading, PA".
