A World War II era Model 1927 Russian Cossack shashka that features a slightly curved, single edged, and deeply fullered blade. There is no guard and the handle features a grooved wood grip and a brass pommel with CCCP decoration. The ricasso is dated "1945" and is marked "HM3". The shashka is complete with its correct leather-covered wood scabbard with brass mounts. CONDITION: The blade remains bright and exhibits scattered blemishes. Wood grip is intact with light handling wear. Brass components exhibit a pleasant patina. The scabbard exhibits various cracks with scattered dents and scratches. Very good.
