Made at Springfield Arsenal in 1919. Originally made to accept the Pedersen Device and reconfigured to A1 form. Blued/matted 24" military barrel with pinned banded front sight and a military rear sight graduated to 2800 yards. Barrel is marked "SA / (Flaming Bomb) / 1-29". Standard blued bolt action with standard markings including receiver marked "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / MODEL 1903 / MARK I" with blued/blackened "R" swept bolt and matted finish milled trigger guard. Standard military walnut "C" stock with no inspector mark or encircled "P" re-inspection mark and correct blued military hardware with 2 bolt reinforcement and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: 90% original blue with areas worn to a silvery patina. Action worn to an honest silvery patina with carry and operating wear. Stock has cleaned surfaces with dings and marks. Good bore with ME of 2 and TE of 1 and good mechanics.
