Made at Springfield Arsenal in 1919. Originally made to accept the Pedersen Device and one of the few not rearsenalled and still in original configuration. 24" blued/matted military barrel with pinned banded front sight and military rear sight graduated to 2800 yards. Barrel is marked "SA / (Flaming Bomb) / 10-19". Standard blued bolt action with standard markings including receiver marked "U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/MARK I" with blued/blackened swept bolt and matted finish milled trigger guard. Standard military walnut finger groove stock with "SA / GAW", crossed cannons inspector mark, encircled "P" reinspection mark, correct blued military hardware, and 2 bolt reinforcement. Comes with period canvas "Nobuckl" sling. CONDITION: 700% original blue with areas worn to a silvery patina. Action worn to an honest silvery patina with carry and operating wear. Stock has cleaned surfaces with dings and marks. Good bore with ME of 2 and TE of 1. Good mechanics.
