Made at Springfield Arsenal in 1934. Blued 24" military barrel with pinned banded front sight and a military rear sight graduated to 2800 yards. Barrel is marked "SA / (Flaming Bomb) / 8-33". Standard blued bolt action with standard markings including receiver marked "U.S. / SPRINGFIELD / ARMORY / MODEL 1903" with blued/blackened finished unmarked, swept bolt, and parkerized milled trigger guard. Standard military "C" style walnut stock with invisible inspector mark and encircled "P" reinspection mark and correct blued military hardware with 2 bolt reinforcement and checkered steel buttplate. CONDITION: 80% original blue with areas worn to a silvery patina. Action worn to an honest silvery patina with carry and operating wear. Stock has cleaned surfaces with dings and marks. Good bore with ME of 1 and TE of 2 and good mechanics.
