53.8 cm from tip of boshi to mune machi. Shinogi zukuri form with iori mune, ha agari kurijiri nakagojiri; yasurime and mei are heavily softened; yasurime appears to be katte-agari, katana-mei illegible. Blade is out of polish which obscures finer details, but hamon appears to be a fairly active gunome with tendrils that reach up almost to the shinogi, with areas of what appear to be burls of mokume. Housed in a saya with bottom split that exists to protect sword. CONDITION: Blade is in need of polish, with oxidation towards tip and a few areas of ware. Saya with scrapes and splits along connecting pieces.
