Introduced in 1913, this example with an early 3-digit "838" serial number. Features include full high polished blue finish, 3 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .35 S&W, half moon front sight, u-notch rear, 2-piece smooth walnut grips inset with dished brass S&W medallions, early style magazine release, and plain blued magazine. CONDITION: Very good overall. Pistol retains the vast majority of its factory-applied blue with some thinning around the muzzle and high edge silvering. Grips have scattered light impressions and a very small split radiating from the left grip screw. Strong, lightly frosted bore. Mechanically fine.
