DSP. A nice example of this double sided porcelain sign from Independent Gasoline featuring the Ethyl logo in the center with nice color throughout. CONDITION: Side 1 retains good color in the field, with a series of surface scratches and abrasions throughout. The outer edges have suffered some porcelain loss over the years and have been touched up sometime more recently. These touch ups are largely limited to only the white background on the extreme outer edges. One of the two factory mounting holes has been snapped and is no longer in-tact (Score 71). Side 2 shows heavy fading and wear throughout the field. There are some scratches and one porcelain chip the size of a quarter present in the field as well. The extreme outer edges show porcelain chipping and wear too (Score 64).
