Made by the Chicago Firearms Company in Chicago, Illinois circa the 1890s with roughly 12,800 made. Factory nickel finished barrel decorated with floral etched barrel band. Round nickel-plated frame with Mother of Pearl scales and nickel-plated operating lever. Marked on sideplate "CHICAGO FIREARMS CO., CHICAGO, ILL." and "THE PROTECTOR" with patent dates. CONDITION: Overall good with light handling marks. Pearls are good with no cracks or chips. Good mechanics and bore. Should have a box.

CORRECTION: The left grip scale has a splice repair.
