Manufactured in 1904 during the second year of production. Highly desirable full high polished blue finish with nitre blue small parts. Slide marked on the left side with the early, desirable "BROWNING'S PATENT" marking. Half moon front sight and u-notch rear. Grips are checkered 2-piece hard rubber impressed with scallop bordered "COLT" and rampant Colt trademark. Complete with unmarked blued magazine. CONDITION: Excellent for its age. Approximately 95% original high polish blue with some high edge wear, surface marks, some muzzle wear, and light thinning on the grip safety. Nearly all of the brilliant nitre blue is likewise retained. Grips are especially fine. Bore exhibits strong rifling, some oxidation present in the grooves. Fine mechanics.
