Circa 1946 Sensenich Model 720-42 wood airplane propeller. Sensenich Propeller Company was established in 1932 with the intent to manufacture fixed pitch wood aircraft propellers for the popular and expanding aviation market. This propeller is crafted from wood featuring a worn clear lacquer finish with painted yellow ends and brass edging with steel rivets. The propeller is marked "MODEL 720-42 / SER NO K6403 / SENSENICH" at the bottom of the hub. The center hub is also marked with the serial number "K6403". There are 2 Sensenich sticker decals on each end of the wood blade that read "Sensenich AIRCRAFT PROPELLERS". The propeller also features decals on each wing that read "ESPECIALLY MADE FOR AERONCA". The propeller is accompanied by a July 9th, 1984, dated letter that states this propeller was manufactured in August 1946. The letter is stamped from the Sensenich Corporation in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. An interesting example of a World War II era Sensenich propeller. Measures approximately 72". CONDITION: The propeller exhibits various scratches and dents but is in overall good condition and presents well with a pleasing patina. Although this propeller is not airworthy, it is worthy of display in a home, office, or restaurant.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
