Circa 1910. Belgian made game gun with 26” shiny blued Siemens-Martin steel barrels are fit with extractors, 2 - 3/4” chambers, and a tapered machined concave game rib with extension and an off white bead front sight. Barrels are choked Full and Extra Full. Top of the right barrel is roll marked "VON LENGERKE & DETMOLD" while the top of the left barrel is roll marked "U.S. AGENTS, NEW-YORK". Shotgun with cross bolt third fastener, double triggers, and a blacked, engraved, and checkered top lever. Action with slight case colors, scroll engraving, chiseled foliate scroll fences, company name, and location engraved "A. FRANCOTTE MAKER & PATENTEE LIEGE BELGIUM". Bottom action blacked and with scroll engraving. Triggers are protected by a blacked and engraved guard with scrolls. Bottom tang with similar scroll and serial number. Safe slide is engraved and checkered, "S" in gold, and gun is auto-safe. Early stock with semi-sharp checkering over its semi-pistol grip and finished by a serrated wooden butt. Splinter forend with semi-sharp checkering and an Anson push button release. CONDITION: Very good. Barrels' bores are bright and shiny, ring nicely, are tight on face, and benefit from a prior re-blue. Triggers are crisp. Chip on forend's left edge near tip. Handling/use marks on buttstock and forend. A very nice game gun.
