Originally made by Parker Gun Company in 1902. This is 1 of 85 guns made in 28 gauge with 26" barrels. The Parker Serialization Book does not list this gun. Blued 26" Titanic fluid steel barrels labeled with "Titanic Steel" rib roll die mark on Parker addressed with matted rib, ejectors, bead front sight, and border breech engraving. Barrels are choked Modified and Cylinder with 2 - 1/2" chambers. Case hardened finish "0" boxlock action with full coverage DH grade style Dog and Bird vignette scene engraved frame with non-automatic safety and factory double triggers with blued floral engraved triggerguard with serial number. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock with carved panels with diamond tails with Parker steel skeleton buttplate, German silver vanity stock plate, Parker logo grip cap, and matching checkered splinter forearm with latch release. PGCA letter confirms shipment as a DH hamerless in 28 gauge with 26" Titanic steel barrels and a capped pistol grip; it was returned for credit on November 5th, 1912, by Simmons Hardware from W.F. Roberts Co. CONDITION: Overall, 95% as restored barrel finish with insignificant handling marks. 10% case colors with sharp markings, action cleaned to a silvery patina. Good wood with 95% as restored finish with small handling marks and sharp checkering. Good mechanics with tight lock up and lever way to the right with excellent screws. Mirror bores. A very rare shotgun.
