AGS CERTIFIED #11255. DSP. A desirable example of this double sided porcelain sign from Sinclair Aircraft featuring a wonderful airplane graphic with excellent color and shine. CONDITION: Side 1 retains wonderful color and shine. There are handful of small porcelain chips in the center field of the airplane graphic. The outer field shows a few porcelain chips as well. The outer edges of the sign remain nice, with a few porcelain chips- the worst of which is half-dollar sized chip in the center of the right edge of the sign (Score 87). Side 2 shows similar color and shine. There are a handful of porcelain chips spread throughout the field, the worst of which remain in the outer green sections of the field. There are two quarter sized chips in the "R" and "C" of "AIRCRAFT," which have been lightly touched up with white paint in order to prevent oxidation staining. The outer edges of this side remain nice with only light porcelain chipping in a few places (Score 86). This sign comes with a nice ring that has been painted red. A nice example of this highly sought after and rare sign from Sinclair.
