AGS CERTIFIED #11264. DSP. A very rare and highly sought after Sign from Clipper Gasoline showing iconic Airplane graphic with unique script & colors. A product of Independent Petroleum Company, Portland, Oregon. CONDITION: Side 1 retains excellent gloss with nice color throughout the field. There are a handful of small porcelain chips in the field, as well as, some light surface scratches and scuffing in the outer field. The most notable porcelain chip is in the yellow background in the upper right field. The mounting holes show porcelain loss and wear from hanging over the years. The extreme outer edges are nice, with wear and chipping in a few areas (Score 87). Side 2 shows heavier surface scratching in the field. The scratches are light but nonetheless present throughout the graphic and outer field. There are some porcelain chips in the field, the worst of which are in the upper left field. The sign shows some discoloration toward the outer edges as well. The mounting holes and outer edges both show porcelain loss and wear, with some light bending to the metal as well (Score 79). This is a highly desirable example with one exceptionally clean side. It displays wonderfully.

This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made.
