AGS CERTIFIED #11268. SSP. A rare and impressive example of this single sided porcelain sign from Cosden featuring a large crosswalk guard die-curt graphic. CONDITION: The field of this sign retains nice color and shine. There is porcelain loss around the center mounting holes, which originally held the sign to a pole and base to be displayed in the road. Oxidation staining from these mounting holes has led to some slight discoloration in the center field of the sign. There are a few other areas of small porcelain chips and discoloration in the outer field as well. The outer edges of the sign show porcelain loss and wear, the worst of which is at the bottom around the man's feet. A rare and highly desirable piece from Cosden.
