Bronze shaft hole axe circa 1st millenium, BC. Features flared downward curved blade with recessed face with raised edges. 4 raised spikes on top of a ribbed haft socket. Measures 8" tall x 3" across the cutting edge with a 1/2" haft opening. CONDITION: Typical ground action corrosion and oxidation as seen in ground recovered bronze weapons. Overall solid with no remarkable dents or fractures. BRM.
