Manufactured prior to WWII by Fabrique Nationale based on John Browning's patents. This blued example features very attractive, possibly factory, nearly full coverage period engraving of floral vines done in semi-relief on matted backgrounds, much in the style of Gough. Classic configuration with a 2" barrel chambered in .25 ACP and recessed sights. Grips are smooth ivory. Complete with a well-fitting zip-up soft case. CONDITION: Nearly all of the period blue is retained. Some mild silvering along the high edges and at the muzzle present. Grips are very fine. Bore displays well-defined rifling with some light frosting. Mechanically fine.
