Originally manufactured in Belgium as a Grade I in 1969, this rifle was expertly upgraded by Angelo Bee. The blued barrel features sprays of foliate scroll engraving at the breech and muzzle. Gold bead front sight and folding adjustable U-notch rear. The French Grey finished takedown receiver is tastefully engraved with nearly full coverage in Renaissance pattern foliate scroll over punchdot backgrounds. Gold washed trigger. Gloss finished checkered, figured walnut forend, and pistol grip buttstock with serrated steel butt plate. Housed in a Browning luggage takedown case. Accompanying paperwork includes correspondence from Angelo Bee discussing this rifle, as well as receipts for the work. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains virtually all of its blued finish. Stocks have some a few scattered impressions, rating fine overall. Very fine bright bore with sharp rifling. No safety button present. Case is very good overall.
