Custom made by Remington Arms Company in 1923. 24" round blued barrel with Remington address, patent dates, standard sights, and "22 LONG RIFLE ONLY-SMOKELESS-GREASED" breech marking. Blued takedown D Peerless grade style engraved action with scroll panel and border engraving. Right panel marked "MODEL 241". Standard trigger and blued and floral engraved trigger guard. Fine checkered walnut pistol grip stock with Remington hard rubber grip cap and checkered steel Remington marked buttplate. Matching checkered walnut swelled forearm. CONDITION: 98% fading original finish with light handling marks. Blue is staring to wear to silver at carry points, wood has some light handling marks with fading original finish. Great bore and mechanics.
