(A) The largest in the group, 14", is an all original AM 1894 doll with sleep eyes, an open mouth with teeth, wearing all factory clothing and mohair wig. (B) The next largest doll, 10", is a Simon & Halbig 1249 with brown glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with teeth, and mounted to the original wood and composition body with original patina, with joints at shoulders, hips and knees. Clothing appears to be original, as does the curly blonde mohair wig with bangs. (C) The next is 8 - 1/2", a Belgian bisque head character doll, with a high color tint, with all molded and painted features and incised on the back of the head "D.F.B." This was made in Belgium by the firm of De Fuisseaux. She is on a five-piece jointed composition body with joints at the elbows and hips, and has molded and painted stockings and one-strap shoes with low heel. She, too appears to be possibly all-original, wearing a simple organdy gauze-type dress, mohair wig and matching hat. (D) The smallest in the group, about 7", is a German all bisque doll, with one-piece head and torso, with separately-strung arms and legs, with painted and molded shoes and socks. She has blue glass sleep eyes and open forward/closed smiling mouth with molded teeth within the confines of the mouth area. She wears a simple gauze dress and a replacement blonde mohair wig. CONDITION: All appear to be in excellent condition, with no damage noted.
