Manufactured 1977. Standard blue and case color finish, blue screws, matching serial number stamped inside grip frame. "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" stamped on left side of barrel. One line barrel address. This gun sports a pair of original 19th century eagle gutta percha grips seen on Colts from mid 1880s to mid 1890s. They fit correctly and have no number scratched inside. CONDITION. Excellent. The cylinder shows very light face burn and a drag line. Otherwise, just light handling throughout, retaining nearly all of the bright factory blue and case color with all the blue on the screws. Four click action and bright bore. The grips are excellent, a bit more wear than the gun, but they fit this frame almost perfectly. A great gun with a pair of rare and valuable grips.
