Shipped from the Smith & Wesson factory on April 10, 1922, to Shapleigh Hardware Co. St. Louis, Missouri. Factory letter confirms configuration as 6 - 1/2" barrel with nickel finish, butt swivel, and checkered non-monogrammed grips. CONDITION: Excellent, with near all of the original nickel plating remaining with light age-related clouding and freckling. Grips are strong with no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Bore is frosted with well-defined rifling.
