Manufactured in 1943 and numbered well within the first block of Remington 03-A4 production. "3-43" dated Remington barrel. Receiver is correctly marked on the sides of the bridge with pertinent information so it can be seen with the scope mount in place. Mounted with a correct Weaver M73BI scope with crosshair reticle on a Redfield base. Walnut scant stock marked with a "K" for Keystone in the cutoff cut out. "P" firing proof present on the wrist with an "AA" marking on the left. Mounts include stamped trigger guard assembly and checkered butt plate. Complete with a green woven sling. CONDITION: Very good overall. Rifle retains the vast majority of its parkerized and blued arsenal finishes with some expected wear. Stock appears sanded and reoiled. Strong, bright bore with some light imperfections. ME of 2. TE of 2. Fine mechanics. Scope has a few spots of cleaned oxidation on the outside. Lenses could use a good cleaning. A nice WWII sniper.
