A nice group of Japanese military orders, medals, and other awards that are tastefully displayed in a 16" x 12" riker mount. The lot includes several examples of the Order of the Rising Sun, a few examples of the Order of the Sacred Treasure, and miscellaneous awards including a medal bar with an Order of the Sacred Treasure 7th or 8th Class, Russo-Japanese War Medal, 1914-20 First World War Medal, and medal of a life member of the Japanese Red Cross. There is also a Imperial Japanese Time Expired Soldiers League Special Member Badge, Imperial Japanese Army Heavy Machine Gun Proficiency Badge, among other awards. Most award exhibit varying degrees of patina and are missing gold wash or enamel components. Some ribbons have darkened or frayed. Nonetheless, this is a very nice offering of Japanese military awards. CONDITION: Fair-very good.
