The colorful circa 1913-1914 image of cowboys roping and bucking' is 42" x 28" by Donaldson Litho Co. No. 3289. Charles H. Tompkins was a roper and rider from Texas and in 1904 directed the Congress of Champion Ropers and Riders at the St. Louis World's Fair. Then from 1913 to 1917 Tompkins and his wife operated Real Wild West and Frontier Exhibition in combination with the Cooper-Whitbys circus. Excellent condition and linen mounted.
