Items from the collection of "Kaptain Tom":
The original watercolor art on heavy paper for a poster and knife throwing exhibition equipment. The poster has colorful, artistic graphics and includes laid on original photograph images of both Captain Tom and Deadshot Dick. "Cowboys and Indian: Sport: Art. / Knife and Tomahawk - Throwing / Lasso Throwing Bows Shooting / Rifle and Pistol Shooting". Signed on the bottom in the margin "GUNNAR SJOSTEDT PAINTER, STOKHOLM". The poster is 41 3/4" x 22 1/2, done on 2 pieces. It is framed to 43 1/2" x 24 1/4". The lot includes a set of 7 throwing knives in a canvas sleeve and 4 misc. knifes, one with sheath. There is also 3 printing blocks, including the block of the full poster. A two-piece "Bulleted Breech Caps / Eley Bros." box containing 2 eggs (one broken) and a wood box (6" x 4" x 2") with personal affects, rings, etc. Also a 3" x 2 1/2" ambrotype image of a young man and child. A fabulous piece from the era of the traveling Wild West.
Letter included stating the items came from Gordan Lagstrom, the grandson of Kaptian Tom.
