Third Reich enlisted RAD Hewer with a "CARL EICKHORN SOLINGEN" marked blade with the RAD triangle positioned over the patent pending words, “Ges. Gesch.”. Light scattered marks and blemishes with nicely executed motto. Nickel-plated steel fittings are bright with scattered marks. Light wear to the stag grip. Scabbard with wear and patina to body and mounts, though the mounts do maintain somewhat of their original sheen with patina. 1 screw is missing at the throat. The hewer is complete with a large later style hanger that is marked "A&S" with the RAD triangle and "37" which appears to be the date. Leather exhibits light cracking with 2 small tears on either side of the hanger. CONDITION: NRA Good.
